A Prayer for the Weak Times

-To those who are hurting, or have been hurt-

I am valuable.

I have value.

I am value...to everyone.

I am worthy.

I have worth. 

I am worth...everything.

To be myself is to be free.

To deny my true self is to live in prison: dead to the world around me. 

The moments, the good, the bad, the highs, the lows, the peaks and the valleys of my life...

ALL ARE VALUABLE.

ALL ARE IMPORTANT.  
ALL ARE NECESSARY.
ALL ARE ESSENTIAL:

To my journey

To my walk on this troubled planet

May I live this life, my life, as a blessing of hope, peace and gratification

To not just self, but to others. 

As I learn to love myself, I learn to love others  

As I learn to love myself, I understand that I am fearfully and wonderfully made

As I learn to love myself, I feel peace 

I will love myself because:

I am valuable

I have value

I am value...to everything

I am worthy

I have worth 

I am worth...everything

May I live my live exuberantly, richly and bombastically:

With a passion so great that it might burst.

With a love so real that others are drawn to its light

With a heart so big that all other organs are overwhelmed by its beating rhythm

With ears that listen and a spirit that follows in step: In tune with the moment, the present, the person that needs to speak

Focused on each given moment

Cherishing them as if they were my last

Relishing in the beauty that lies within 

I will be present because:

I am valuable

I have value

I am value...to everyone

I am worthy

I have worth 

I am worth...everything

Help me to find the strength when I am weak

When I am unwilling to speak

The times where I want nothing but to sit on the sidelines 

and the times when I find myself placed ON the sidelines

The times where I stay back, remaining silent when I need to speak up

The times when I get involved too much, shouting out when I need to shut up

The times where I want to fight when I need to love

The times where I need to stand up for what is right

The times where I want to argue instead of finding resolution

Help me to find the courage to witness myself

And witness others around me

Strengthen my resolve, my resilence, my resoluteness. 

Revive my foundation that is built on hope of a brighter day

Reveal the steps I need to take towards becoming that hope for myself and others

Help me to shine brighter than I ever have before

I will shine because:

I am valuable.
